He leaves midway through the era. He does not vanish from the emotional history — his influence resurfaces in The Wondering Traveler, selected Tomorrowline songs, Solo Signals, and his own EP, The Shape I Left.

Leaving changes the person who leaves as much as the people left behind. That outline remains in the wall.
